City of Boston Community Preservation Fund
Church of St. Augustine and St. Martin is thrilled to announce that we are a recipient of a grant from the City of Boston's Community Preservation Fund. We have been given $200,00 for roof repairs and masonry work .
This work will encompass the roofs of our 4 historic buildings as well as masonry on the exterior of the sanctuary and front of St. Michael's House. We are in the process of getting pricing and hope to commence the work in early fall of 2021.
George B. Henderson Family Foundation
The George B. Henderson Family Foundation has granted Church of St. Augustine and St. Martin $40,000 towards the restoration of the three large windows in the sanctuary that look onto Lenox Street.
We hope to get started on the work prior to the end of 2021.
The Henderson Foundation will reimburse us once the work is done.
There are more windows to be restored as well, so we are looking for other grants and individuals.
